As we weave our way through life, there are seasons that are harder to endure than others. When you encounter these challenges, you deserve someone by your side who will listen with compassion, help you build on your strengths, and find a middle way between acceptance and change so that you can find relief, connection and joy.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and Washington State approved supervisor with expertise in working with adults of all genders around life transitions related to pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood, including postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety and other perinatal mood and anxiety disorders; body image and identity shifts; grief and loss; infertility; and traumatic birth or other traumas in the perinatal time period - which means during pregnancy and the next 2-3 years.
Therapy, Supervision & Consultation Practice Updates:
June 2022 Update: I am not accepting therapy clients at this time, though I may have openings later this summer. I am not accepting new supervision clients before fall. I am offering another supervision group this summer. Feel free to email or schedule an initial phone consultation. Perinatal Support Washington is a good source for other perinatal therapists and Therapy Den is an alternative to Psychology Today for a general therapy directory.
"When we were children, we used to think that when we were grown-up we would no longer be vulnerable. But to grow up is to accept vulnerability...To be alive is to be vulnerable."
