As we weave our way through life, there are seasons that are harder to endure than others. When you encounter these challenges, you deserve someone by your side who will listen with compassion, help you build on your strengths, and find a middle way between acceptance and change so that you can find relief, connection and joy.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with a therapy practice in Cambridge, MA supporting adolescents and adults in individual and family therapy. I have a special interest in working with women and their families around life transitions related to pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood, including postpartum depression and anxiety.
June 2016 Update: My Cambridge practice is closing this month as I prepare to move to Seattle and start work there with pregnant and postpartum women. I feel so privileged to have worked with each of the individuals and families to whom I've provided support here. Many thanks to all the birth, postpartum, and women's health professionals with whom I've worked in the Cambridge and Acton areas. If you are looking for a therapist and you are pregnant or postpartum, you can feel free to get in touch and I can share local referrals. If you are looking for a general therapist referral, I recommend contacting the Social Work Therapy Referral Service.
